On today’s May Day, International Workers Day, thousands of workers  gathered at ___ to show we will continue to stand up for our community members, our immigrant neighbors, and one another. This rally which brought together union members from across the city also highlighted the fight of the GLU to win a fair process to form our union. We even marched onto the Eastman Campus, and chanted in unison. You can see the great coverage of this incredible event on (13Wham, Democrat and Chronicle)

As a cornerstone of this rally, we called on graduate workers and community members to come together and strike with us on May 16th and disrupt commencement.
