Today, former Doctor of Musical Arts candidate Rebecca Bryant Novak came forward with her filing with the New York Division of Human Rights against the Eastman School of Music and Neil Varon. Specifically citing the many acts of mistreatment and sexual harassment Varon engaged in targeting Novak. She went into detail on how her attempts to go through existing channels at the U of R were ineffective, and how those systems failed her.
